Google itself says that Google Doc voice typing will get further optimized and the new “Improvements also Include expanded availability to most major browsers”.

The support document states that slides will now automatically generate automatic punctuation for captions, further improving the experience for “end users”.

To use the Voice typing feature in Google Docs, go to “Tools” and Select “voice typing”.

This allows a microphone for dictation and allows you to edit and format the document using your voice.

You need to click on the Microphone again to pause for dictation your voice.

Google reports that the update will be available for all Workspace customers, as well as legacy G Suite Basic, Business customers as well as  Personal google accounts.
